Many pupils and parents made the effort to walk to school and have pledged to continue walking throughout the week. As well as benefiting from the exercise and reduction in cars outside the school gates they also enjoyed the Spring sunshine on their walk to school.

On Wednesday 23rd May, all pupils and staff from Killowen Primary School, Lisburn took part in Walk to School Day. Although it was a damp morning the children enjoyed the fresh air. This is just another step in our Eco School, Healthy eating and Exercise programme that helped us to achieve our Green Flag Award. (K Brown, Killowen PS)
