Killylea PS

Killylea Primary School have been really busy this week walking, biking and scooting to school every day!! On Monday the Eco-group decorated ourFlag Pole like a May Pole with bluebells, wild orchids and lots of other pretty flowers and after they'd walked, biked or scooted to school all the children danced around the "May-Pole!"

Drew loved walking to school every day because he says it's really good for him and it's fun! Rachel really enjoys walking because she gets a chance to talk to her friends and Mark says it gets him fit and healthy. Sam says he likes to see the outside world and listen to the birds singing and Lauren likes walking because it's fun and she's saving Polar Bears and Penguins. Ruth says we're not breathing in rotten fumes and polluting our school and the world. Finally Lee sums it all up by saying "I like walking down to school because it's good for the earth and it's good for me!!

We love walking, biking and cycling to school every day!!
