St Mary's Primary School, Cushendall

These photographs are of walk to school days held during walk to school week.  Also on Wednesday 21st May following the walk to school we held a healthy breakfast for all the staff and children.

St Mary's is a SUSTRANS school so from September 2007 we have been holding regular walk to school events for example, Walk Around the World.  Explorer Alastar Humphrey's came to visit.  We promote healthy breaks and healthy lifestyle encouraging the children to walk and cycle to school not only on Walk To School Week, but everyday.  The children are currently involved in the Tour of Africia SUSTRANS challenge.
